The Land is green

Happy Friday people!! Today is early close at work so I will be running out of here shortly. But anyhow, I bring to you today a special artist TY BELLO
Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too? Of course you can...especially if like TY Bello you were astutely aware of your potential from when you were 13, knew that there was a purpose to your existence and believed that ultimately, “absolutely nothing is unattainable for those who walk by faith and work hard...”
I am fully behind the props given to her by Genevieve Magazine. Toyin Bello was a member of group "Kush" which comprised Lara Bajomo, Emem Ema and TY Sokefun and they had the popular hit: Let's live together.
However my favorite song off their album was "I'm surrounded by fire" It was an intro but I wish they would have made a song out of it..Anyway TY has a song called "Greenland"
The song is rather sonorous...
She said:
"I've got a word and I wont let go, its your will I'm seeking so I'll keep on believing"
She is an inspiration and when people like her reach and follow her dreams, it is a domino effect because it gives someone like me the confidence and faith to follow whatever my dreams are. Toyin explains what the song Greenland means,
Greenland is not saying that everything is alright, it's just saying that there is power in our words. The more the people say the land is green, the greener the land will become. (She is referring to Nigeria) she says we as a people need to believe and change our mind sets and start blessing Nigeria.
Toyin, the Economics graduate, photographer, singer, songwriter, wife and charity activist! She took her photography skills to orphanage's and poverty stricken districts to capture parts of the world we dare not forget about.
People, TY Bello is my inspiration for the year. She has taken a stand in faith, to reach out to the poor, to encourage through her music and most of all MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Let us all do something! Have a wonderful weekend and God bless.
Click on the praise section to hear GREENLAND-It's the second video. (The 1st video is a mini documentary on her work)
